Overview
Over the period of three full days and under the guidance of NFTS’ highly qualified teaching staff, the students will be given an in-depth presentation of what the role of Production Co-ordinator consists of.
The course will give the opportunity to students to further develop their knowledge and skills in order to follow successful careers as Production Co-ordinators.
Course description
Course Premise: Designed for experienced production coordinators, this course furthers the participant’s knowledge of scripted production and improves their employment prospects through dedicated thematic briefing:
- What is a Coordinator
- Overview of scheduling and budgeting
- Film crew and dep
- Standard platforms for planners and diaries
- Shipping
- Rushes
- Working overseas
- Insurance
- Clearances
- Contracts
- Wrap reports & Progress reports
- Overview of Post Production
This is an informal and structure-based course that includes specifically-designed exercises to improve a wide skill set while building confidence.
Entry requirements
Previous production experience is desirable. Applicants from other fields should demonstrate passion for pursuing a career in film or TV production co-ordination.
They would also need to be 18 years old or over and have a good command of the English language, as the course will be delivered in English.

Maximum student numbers would be 15.
Fee
All 2022 participants will receive a full scholarship.
