Overview

This course provides a thorough working knowledge of using Movie Magic Budgeting, and is aimed at those looking to transform their producing skills by learning how to use this product to its full potential.

This course will be delivered by Dewi Griffiths who has worked on productions across Europe and in North America on such large budget TV shows as The X Files and Star Hunter. Dewi adopted Movie Magic Budgeting when working as a Production Manager and later Line Producer on ITV Network dramas like The Flint Street Nativity and highly complex episodic drama series like Dream Team and Mile High for Sky. As a Production Manager, Line Producer and Producer running his own company, Dewi installed Movie Magic Scheduling and Budgeting workflows on all of his productions. He continues to help set up such workflows in major BBC and independent television projects as well as to train Movie Magic Scheduling and Budgeting for Sargent Disc, BECTU, and at a number of academic and industrial organisations including the NFTS.

    • Using CUME AND CHANGE
    • Using COMPARE
    • Setting PREFENCES
    • Set up FOREIGN CURRENCIES
    • Set up and Apply LIBRARY

Entry requirements

Applicants should have previous administrative production experience.

Applicants need to have a good command of the English language, as the course will be delivered in English.
